Kintargo Opera House
Built in the Egorian style but with Kintargo’s distinctive red-tiled roof, the Kintargo Opera House has long been the city’s artistic center and one of its most identifiable landmarks. Capable of seating nearly a thousand people at capacity, the Kintargo Opera House served as the headquarters for The Silver Ravens during the Chelish Civil War. Now days, it is owned and supported by the Victocora family who are true patrons of the arts.
Currently, the Opera House is preparing to perform Lamentations of the Snow Queen, a new operatic play detailing the fall of Irrisen’s line. It is also slightly contentious as it has underlying anti-Thrune themes and a warning that all despots fall. It was written by Titania Ellessar & stars Shensen, who plays the heroine and usurper, Katarina the Fair. The premier is two nights away and the first month of shows are already sold out.
